Help with turning on gas stove after the GAS company turned it off
Hi a few days ago we had a big storm in Vegas that caused my stove to act weird. All the burners began clicking as if trying to ignite. I could not get any of them to light. I called the gas company they came out and turned everything off. I was not paying attention. I just looked under the stove in the cabinet and saw a power cord unplug and the gas valve.
Should I plug it in and turn on the gas and see if there is still a problem? I cannot afford to have the appliance repair come and pay 60 dollars or more to just turn a switch.
Any opinions. The stove is about 8 years old.

Welcome to the forums.
That doesn't sound like typical gas company protocol.
Why would they shut everything off ? Did you have a gas leak ?
Do you have any other gas operated appliances and are they operating ok ?
What did the gas company advise you to do ?
