2 out of 4 gas burners won't spark

I have a Blue Star 30" gas cooktop which is 5 years old. The two burners on the right side work normally but the two on the left side are not getting and spark but are getting gas. Could it be the ingniter? If so, why would both burners be effected? Thank you.

First I would remove the burners and look at the wires leading to the ignitors. It could be as simple as them coming unhooked or the wire could be broken.

Next I would post the model and serial number of your cooktop so the experts can look it up.

Looking at the BlueStar website they sell 2, 4 and 6 point ignition modules so it's possible that your stove has two 2 point modules and one is bad. It's also possible you have a 4 point module and a couple outputs are dead.

Usually in a case like that I will swap the wires on the spark module to make sure the problem is not the spark electrode at the burner.

You'll notice the four red arrows. That is where the ignitor wires connect. I change the order of those 4 to see if the spark issue changes to a different burner(s)

That module is either just under the top cover or accesible from the back of the unit thru an access plate. I don't know the exact location and would follow the ignitor wires to it.

In the following link is a slightly different part that may be used in your unit.
Guaranteed Parts BlueStar-4 POINT SPARK MODULE

Parts distribution seems to be limited for Blue Star parts so in the link is one possible place to purchase parts from.
