Oven won't light.
I have a Maytag oven, model mgr4452bds.
Stove top works fine, but oven won't light. The pilot glows bright red and I have 107volts going to safety valve. Could the valve be bad or is there a thermo coupler that tells valve to open, which may be bad.

Welcome to the forums.
The circuit is fairly basic and is primarily the igniter and the gas safety valve. The igniter is in series with the gas valve. It must glow almost white hot for the gas valve to open.
If you want to electrically check it you'd need a clamp on ammeter. The igniter should draw at least 3.2-3.6 amps. When it hits 3.2 amps..... the gas valve will open.
I'd replace the igniter first. The part number for the igniter is 74007498.
The link is one of several sites that sells the part. You can also check with your local applinace parts retailer.
