Viking gas range burners will not Lite
Hi >< I have a Viking gas range, 1998 or 99 year Model. VGIS 360-6BDSS Ser.# R082898-13435
Just all at once the right side & center burners quite lighting & No spark, I can still lite the burners with a propane lighter so I know I have gas flow, I am thinking it must be that thing in the back right corner where all the wires are & a wire goes to each burner sparker >< is there a way to test this thing, I think its called a Spark Module, if its bad where is the best & cheapest place to get one,
one thing I can tell about before this happen, some times when we would light 1 burner another sparker would be striking on a burner that was not turned on, don't know if that has any bearing on this problem I have now
Thanks for any help You'll can send this Old Man >

Welcome to the forums old man.
In most gas stoves..... when you turn on any gas burner.... all the burners will spark. This is a common spark module.
Many newer and high end stoves use an automatic re-ignition system in case the flame goes out. In that case..... each burner control only activates its own spark.
I'll look into what your stove uses and get back to you.

Viking Range Problem
P Jmax >< Could U check and see which Spark Module I need, I see there are a number od different ones listed for Viking ranges, I have not seen one that looks like the one I have, I do have a picture of it if that would help, and if I can figure out how to load up the pic. my range is a 1999 6 burner, the module that is bad is the right hand side one, it controls the right hand & center burners,
My Viking Model# is VG IS Gas 360 - 6 BDSS & the Ser.# is R082898-13435
Many think for any Help U can get for me, I am afraid of ordering one that does not look like the one I have now unless there has been some kind of up date that I can change over to
Thanks>< Hope these pictures help

Hello: Lake Rat

Once you obtain the new part, very carefully remove one wire at a time from the existing part and transfer it over to the new part. If possible do that while the old part remains in place. Picture shows there should be enough extra wire length to make the transfer as described.
Be sure to unplug the appliance from the electrical power before making the part exchange too!

They sure make things confusing.
Your spark module is a 0+4 full re-ignition module. The OEM part number is PA020013. That's an older part number. I see a few places still selling it. One is in the link below. I also see a few on eBay.
PA020013 SPARK MODULE FOR VIKING OVEN
It is also sub-able to a newer replacement module part number PA020041. The newer one carries a price tag of double the older model. I'm not sure why. The replacement looks different from the old one but the connections are determined by the numbers printed on the module.

Viking Range Burner Problem
P Jmax >< I need the spark Module for the Stove Top burners >< the one for the top Right & Center Burners >< 4 Burners in all ><
Are you saying that the Part Numbers PA 020013 or Part # PA 020041 That you listed is for those 4 Burners & Plus for the Oven also?
The Module that I am wanting to replace is located below the Right hand burners, in the far back right Corner
The Oven will still light
Thanks

You posted a picture of the module you have.
I posted the exact model number of the module you posted (PA020013) so I'm not sure what your question is.
The PA020041 is the replacement for the old part. It also supplies spark for 4 burners.
Some websites call it an oven and some call it a stove..... is that your question ?
Your oven should use a glow type igniter not a spark.
