I have this gas oven, Mod # RBK22AA0 Serial # 9412237049 Manf # P1142943N W. The only markings are Caloric. I think it is made by Amana Refrig., Inc. The burners work (4 of them) the oven and broiler works. What the problem is. The oven doesn't regulate the heat. Meaning if I set it at 350 degrees, it will go to 500. It doesn't matter where I put the knob, it heats up to 500 no matter what. Any help with this is much appreciated. Ric

Hello Ric and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliance forum.

Based on the information you posted, the only solution is to replace the thermostat.

Whenever an oven temperature exceeds the selected set temperature by 50 degrees or more, it is almost always caused by the thermostats failure to sense the baking compartments internal temperature.

Check the archives, within this forum, for other postings on this exact topic. doing so you'll find more detailed instructions and information on how to accomplish the task.
