I would like to know how to access the door switch on a Speed Queen gas dryer. I have no clue how to get the panel off. I have changed the ignitor before but is was easy to reach.

Stovetop ignitor keeps clicking only on one burner control.

This is a 5 sealed burner stovetop. This unit doe's not have the normal ignitor switch that slides over the burner control shaft. It has a leaf switch that is engaged when the knob is turned. A round plastic piece similar to a cam pushes on the leaf switch when turned. All other burners click until the burner is lit thens stops automatically. Doe's this unit detect the flame similar to a flame detector on a gas furnace??? Any help on this would trully be appreciated. This is a fairly new model unit. Read More

Maytag Gas oven won't work

I have an export model of a Maytag gas range. Recently, the oven ceased functioning. The ignitors do not glow. I checked continuity. The wiring, gas valve, voltage regulator, and ignitors all check out. Am I correct in thinking that the problem is with the electronic control panel? If so, how do I troubleshoot it?Read More
