Maytag Gas oven won't work
#1
I have an export model of a Maytag gas range. Recently, the oven ceased functioning. The ignitors do not glow. I checked continuity. The wiring, gas valve, voltage regulator, and ignitors all check out. Am I correct in thinking that the problem is with the electronic control panel? If so, how do I troubleshoot it?

Hello and Welcome Rarnett to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliance forum.
Based on the test you already performed and the positive results you got, there are two possibilities left.
Either the control board is defective or the test results are flawed. If the board is defective, I suggest you have it professionally tested before making the determination it's defective without proof.
Should there be any doubt about the test results, perform them once again. Be sure the thermostat is set ON and all the other control selections are set correctly. Test each function selector setting. Be sure everything is set to maual on the first test so there is a basic starting point from which to draw a definative conclusion. Be sure to read the wiring diagram prior to each test.
Check the archives within this forum for further idea suggestions. All else fails to provide a conclusion, you may need to seek professional help.
