Hi All
These forums are the best, but you know this-- we have an older GE gas dryer DVL223GYOWW that stopped heating and with the help of my very first multimeter plus expert advice here and on youtube I have managed to troubleshoot it down to the solenoid (?) gas coil, the ignitor glows but no fire, so that makes sense, right? My question / comment is this: I was not able to get a replacement locally so I've ordered one online but I'm not sure what I'm going to get because for this part:

I've found prices ranging from $12 to $120, no joke.
I will update when the part arrives & I get it installed and up and running again (fingers crossed) but wondered if there's something I've missed...
thank you guys-- happy mothers day to ME
Megan

The factory OEM part number is WE04X10020
Yes... you'll find many knock-off coils sets.
I guess you'll see what type of bargain you get by how long they last.
