Adjust regulator on Thermador propane cooktop?
We just bought a house with a propane range top. It is a Thermador professional series from 1980's or 90's. The propane tank, which only serves the cooktop, has a regulator, and there is another regulator under the cooktop which has some type of screw on the top of it. The flame tends to be hotter than we would want. Even on low, things boil and burn easily. Is the regulator under the cooktop typically adjustable so we can turn down propane pressure/flow? Thank you

On this site, Pete is the appliance guru so you should check back. As far as I know a regulator is not adjustable, it can only be switched from natural gas to propane. Ensure your regulator is in the propane position. If the screw is large, it's only a cover for the switch.
If you remove the burner knobs you should see a screw that adjusts the low limit on the individual burners.
The adjustment screw will be either inside the (hollow) knob shaft or very close to the shaft externally.
