Samsung Dryer DV5451AEW XAA

My dryer is not heating, all else is working fine. Any help and or videos of what it could be would be greatly appreciated..

You posted under gas dryer but model# shows electric???? If electric you need a heater assy. Very common problem for Samsung dryers. Must of changed a hundred before I retired. After changing heater clean vent all the way to outside or you will be doing this again. Let us know if gas or electric.

There are ways to test parts before you go replacing. Check for continuity on the heater first (google search will give numerous results). If it's not that then check your thermal fuse and high limit thermostat. And make sure there are no obstructions and your vent is cleaned (cause of many thermal fuse blows).

Hi, I rent a garage apartment that has a propane tank outside. All I use it for is cooking. I use maybe 5 gallons a year. My current propane delivery company charges me for the tank rental and a minimum fee regardless of my small use so I end up spending about $160/year for less than 5 gallons of propane. They can't offer me anything better and other delivery companies are about the same. I thought about getting a smaller tank that I could replace myself but I don't building codes allow their use for indoor cooking (with the tank outside, of course.) Do people use those tanks for indoor stoves? If so, I'd want someone to hook it up safely. I don't trust myself to do it. (I'd then get the current propane company to remove the current tank.) Kenmore Dryer not heating

I have a Kenmore model 417.92142101. It will heat up when cold (first start), but will not heat up after the burner shuts down. The igniter lights up, but it will not fire. I've done continuity tests, and all are okay. I have good air flow and the vent and pipe are both clean. Where do I go from here?Read More
