Question

We have a gas oven, about 8 years old, and it no longer heats to the correct temperature. For instance, if it's set to 350, the actual temperature may be only 275.

Could the gas jets be clogged? Any clue on how to clean them?

Thanks for any help.

Arrow Thermostat Calibration Needed

Hello travelinman

The thermostat needs a recalibration.
This is not a doityourself project.

Special tools, training, experience are needed along with the proper technique and adjusted in the correct sequence in order to accomplish the task.

Done incorrectly, it can ruin a good thermostat that otherwise only needed an adjustment.

Regards & Good Luck
