The ignitor on the front-left burner in my Wolf Gas Stove(the model number is # CT30G/S) stops clicking.
When I turn on the burner switch, it doesn't click any more. Now I have to use stove lighter to make it work.
In normal case, when I press the switch down, the burner should click and then ignite the burner. Also the light below the switch will stay RED.
Now, when I press this malfunction one, the burner doesn't click anymore. After I light up the burner manually, the light under the switch doesn't show any light.
Question> Can someone give me suggestion that I can fix the issue?
We just got a new whirlpool 5 in 1 air fry gas range and had it installed on Friday. I was informed that I should run the oven for a bit to get rid of the smell and all that so I did. Once the oven came to temperature every other minute or two I hear a click and whoosh like the ignitor is turning off then a minute or two later i hear the whoosh like its lighting back up. Is this normal? I've never had anything this new and it's been a few years since we've had a functioning oven and I'm having anxiety about it and I just wanna know if this is a normal thing or if something is wrong.

Top oven doesn't ignite in bake or broil mode. I can visually see the ignitor near the broiler and it does not appear to heat up. Top oven worked a few days ago. Broiler hasn't been used in a few years. Using a clamp meter around one of the ignitor wires, I see no AC current flowing to the broiler ignitor.
Bottom oven still functions correctly.
I'm suspecting the ignitor(s), but I find it a bit odd that both the broiler and top oven ignitor both went bad. I'm I wrong in assuming there are 2?
Suggestions for how I should diagnose the problem, hopefully, without too much disassembly? I'm finding OEM ignitors $70+ but my wife would rather replace it than spend $150 and a few hours trying to repair it.Read More
