GE gas dryer dead

I have a GE gas dryer model DCVH515GF0WW. Went to use it one day and it was just dead, the only symptom I have to work with is it has no lights or sounds on the display panel and doesn't work at all. I have confirmed power is getting to the main control board but that is all I've been able to do.

Any way to diagnose if there's a fault on the main control board or if the problem is the display board or ribbon cable or perhaps something else that would cause this issue?

I've checked and there is power at all the red hashes I made on the photo.

Thread moved to gas appliance forum.

Does the interior tub light work when door is opened ?

That dryer should have an attached tech sheet..... 31-16123.
Did you find it ?

After getting new bulbs, (It's been out for a while) yes the light works and is operating with the door switch. I also do have the tech sheet mentioned. The only cable that connects to the display board is the ribbon cable and the sheet doesn't break down what pins supply power. I did want to mention that we had a power issue a few months back (broken neutral at the power pole) that got fixed. The dryer did work afterwards and since then, just has me wondering if it played a role

Was the display always on or did it only come on when the door was opened and closed ?
OR did it come alive when you touched any button on the control ?

This is the power supply section.
It's high voltage. Comes thru that choke and goes thru the row of 4 diodes.
That choke almost looks burned. Check the other side of the board

I honestly don't know with 100 percent certainty. I've used it a lot but guess I've never actually paid attention. I think it did turn on with the door being opened.

Back of board looks good, to my eye.

I did just notice this spot. Looks like some discoloration and black spots as well as some corrosion on the chip.

My compliments. Your pictures are very good and helpful.
You are correct. That area looks like it got wet and with the high voltage would have arced.
I'm pretty sure your board is dead.

I see several boards floating around. New is no longer in production.
One new for $250+.
I'm seeing one or two used on ebay.
I see possible rebuilds.

Thanks for your help. Got a nice clean used board from eBay for $45 and back in business.
