Oven Insulation
#1
I am trying to locate a heat-resistant blanket type of insulation used in a gas range. I dissasembled my stove, and found what appears to be a soft fiberglass insulation surrounding the oven compartment, and also inside the oven & broiler door. Do anyone know if I can use the standard pink wall insulation?

Hello Cleatus22 and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliance forum.
I can't think of any reason why any glasswool insulation used for home insulation can't be used. Just be sure the insulation isn't covered with any outer wrapping material.
You should also consider how much was there prior and use no more than that. Basically, the insulation is wrapped around the outer oven cabinet to protect the wooden cabinet the oven is installed into from excessive heat.
