I have a monarch combination wood and l.p. gas range mod.# whk36hw.mice got into the oven insulation and has to be replaced. Can you tell me where I can obtain some high temp insulation. I need approx. 7" long, 20" wide and about 1" thick. I had to dismantle the whole range to get the oven out. I guess there is no easy way. Thank you for your help.

Hello Al Valdez

Best place might be one of the local appliance parts dealers listed in the phone book.

If that source doesn't have it, almost any non backing standard insulation will do. You'll need to cut it to fit but that isn't difficult.

TIP:
Be sure NOT to close up or cover up any air ventilation locations. Air must enter the ovens burner compartment to support combustion and heat the baking/broiling compartments.

Regards & Good Luck
