My AC unit

When my outside AC unit start the suction line feels very cold
about 30 seconds, after that gradually get wormer. but stays cold
not as much as when it starts.

I thank you for any idea.

When the unit first starts, there is an initial rush of refrigerant and then the flow stabilizes. Is the unit not cooling sufficiently?

leaking wall unit

I have a wall unit that works fine, but I my downstairs neighbor (I live in a condo) just informed me that my unit was leaking down onto his wall. My a/c unit is about 7 or 8 years old, and this is the first problem I've had. I don't see any leaking from the unit itself, although there is some condensation, which I thought was okay. I am on a very limited budget, and I suspect to call a repair service would be quite costly. Any ideas?Read More

Last night I discovered that the fan in the compressor wasn't spinning but I can hear a hum from the attached box housing it's electronics. Is the compressor shot? Do I need a motor? What does it sound like?Read More
