Question Rheem or Coleman?

I'm replacing my 42 year old (yeah, I know!) Richmond/Rheem gas furnace.. have a 25 year old Carrier central a.c...
I live in N.J.

House is about 2,000 Sq Ft.
Rheem guy says 75,000 btu 80% APUE furnace and 14 seer a.c. is the package.

Coleman guy is getting back to me.

For mid-range equipment, any preferences on these or other brands???

Lightbulb Brands

Brand doesn't matter nearly as much as the installation.
Make sure you have a load calculation done to determine what size you really need, don't let them guess with your comfort !!!

Too small won't heat/cool enough
Too big and you will have a lot of hot/cold ups and downs as well as uneven temps throught the house

Make sure they check/fix the ductwork, it's 42 years old too !!

i agree

with 54regcab, howerever in my experience coleman is junk and hard to get parts for. personally i have a rheem at my house, and after all your last rheem lasted 42 yrs, why change brands? get many quotes, they are free.
