Furnance Has Water From Ac

The bottom of my furnance seems to have water leaking when the AC is turned on. Can I fix this myself or do I have to call in a repairman.

You might be able to fix it yourself. Search thru the posts for the past couple months and you'll find several related to this issue and lots of ideas on what to look for. Let us know how you make out.

Hi, I have two central AC units - one upstairs and one down. Only the downstairs seems to work. The upstairs blower works but the air never gets cold. The larger pipe (freon?) entering the condensor gets cold to the touch for the downstairs and not for the upstairs. Could the upstairs unit not be charged? Is there a DIY way to find out what is up? Thanks.

ok just today when I went into my basement there is some water leaking from the duct work attach to the furnance. I checked the filter and its clean. I checked the little device that takes condenstation and pumps it to the outside and its clean. What can it be?
