Through the wall /window A/C
I'm not in a bind but do have a question. I am building an14X16 bldg behind the main house and wonder what the pro and cons are if I put in an a/c in the window or thru the wall. Will I have difficulty finding an "exact fit" if the a/c goes out if it's in the wall? I am total electric -what is the best way to heat such a room? Thanks for your advise!

I would do it through the wall. These units are built on a slide out chassis, for servicing.
I would choose a heat pump type. In the coldest weather (under 40 degrees) the heating will be electric strip heating. The heat pump will save energy in all of the heating hours above 40 degrees.
If noise were an issue, I would recommend the quiet, wide hotel type. They also look very nice.
