heater short cycling

I had a lady call me and say her heater was kicking on and off every three minutes or so...it is one of the 90+ furnaces...I was wondering if the heat anticipator could be the problem....or if it could be a limit switch or other cause...........Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Bob Duvall

cycling problem

heat anticipator setting should be found in the amp draw of the gas valve. if the tstat is digital probably no anticipator adjustment. if high limit switch is tripping check filter, coil, etc for air restriction.
