wood stove question

i have done some searching but have not found questions to all my answers. so here goes.

I obtained an older wood burning stove that I want to install in my detached 3 stall poll barn style garage, so that i am able to work on my vehicles durring the winter. What I am wondering is if single wall vent piping will be good for this application. I can easily place the stove 3 to 4 ft away from any wall but my bigger question is what I need to do to run through the roof and be a safe from the pipe being to close to the roof.

Thank you for any help you can give.

smoke pipe

First whats the roof made of? You could get the 3 wall pipe and jack that they use for fireplaces and go through the roof with that. Then just use single wall stove pipe up to it ED

Either tripple wall metal vent or a All Fuel vent will work. All fuel vent requires a much smaller roof penetration.
