Question wood stove installation

[SIZE=1]how do you install a wood stove chimney pipe through the roof of a garage. there is no ceiling only the roof, height from stove to roof about 15-18 feet ,what parts would i need[/SIZE]

This depends on local codes.

You generall require approved insulated chimney and the fittings that go with it.

The insulated chimney will extend above and below the roof a prescribed distance.
Stove pipe will then connect between the stove and this chimney.

wood heater

i would run the size that currently hooks to the unit, NEVER reduce, a heavy guage single wall pipe, 22 or 24 guage, using as few elbows as possible, and keeping MINIMUN 6 inches clearance to combustibles. use a proper cap, collar and flashing. if you can run doublewall pipe, do it.
