Kerosene Heater Repair

Hello,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I am looking for someone who repairs kerosene space heaters, preferably around the Lancaster/Columbus area. I found this heater at an auction for $1.00 and it does not work, so it's not a big deal if I need to throw it away, but if I can get it fixed, that would be better.

The problem is the igniter is not working. I replaced the element and it stil does not work. Thank you.

Simond:

There would not likely be too many repair outlets for these things.

I would recommend you contact the mfr and see who is set up to do warranty on them.

kerosene heaters

i would trash it or sell it to my ex wife. they can be dangerous, not only safety (fire) wise, but i saw one soot up an entire house one night because it was improperly burning. for a buck? your safety and health are worth trashing it.

I take that back.

I have to agree with hvac4u in that these things can be dangerous.

Do someone a favor and do not put it in YOUR garage sale.

Here is some info.
