gas furnace

hi frds

I am having a problem with my gas furnace. After being off for the night the furnace comes on in the morning, heats the water and begins to circulate the hot water to the radiators. After a while the furnace turns off, but the house doesnt warm up to the temperature set on the thermosat. The water continues to circulate and after a bit the furnace tries to fire again but does not catch. i hear the electronic sparking unit clicking and i get an occational puff of flame, but no fire. any ideas whats wrong

Question More info please.

kenwei:

I assume you mean boiler and not furnace.

We need to know more about your system in order to give you a good answer.

What is important is the water pressure and temperature which should be on a guage on the boiler.
We also need to know what fuel you are using among other things.

Pleast be so kind as to read the "Read B-4 Posting" anouncement at the top of this forum and supply ALL the info we ask for.
