geothermal heat pumps

hello i have two water source heat pumps that use a open loop supplied by two wells (1pickup 2dump). the water is very hard causing gasket leaks on control seal making the pumps run when system is not on.(pressure valves) i was wondering if I could control the well pump by hooking up to the thermostat so that the pump would operate .

Question More info please.

charles castle:

I'm not exactly sure what it is you want to do.

We need a detailed explanation of how things are now hooked up.

It would be handy to have the complete background on your situation and if you read the announcement at the top of this forum there is a list of what we need to know.

We want to give you the best response possible.

pump

I dont see why you cant set it up so the pumps would work off of relays and not the pressure switch for you.I wouldnt tie them to the tstat's Have the units turn the pump on with relays ED
