Heating Problem HELP

We have a multi level home that has a 4 zone oil hot water heating system. We recently had an outside fresh air vent installed. Recently the furthest room in the house has little or no heat. We replaced the thermostat however this did not help. All 4 thermostats in the house are set differently (anticpation settings) Also the boiler goes on briefly, stops, and then comes back on. Sometimes it runs very long.

Question More info please.

Watersedge:

We need to know more about your system in order to give you a good answer.

What is important is the water pressure and temperature which should be on a guage on the boiler.
We also need to know what fuel you are using and how your four zones are controlled, among other things.

Pleast be so kind as to read the "Read B-4 Posting" anouncement at the top of this forum and supply ALL the info we ask for.

Can you tell us what brand of zone valves you have? Do you have hot water baseboard heaters?

The distance from the boiler isn't as crucial on hot water as it is on warm air heat, but does play a small part. Next time things are not working right, check the temperature gauge on the boiler and see what the water temp is. Let us know more and we'll go from there.
