Oil Heat exchanger disposal

Question: Furnace built in 1970s, I replaced it with another oil burning forced hotair furnace. When disposing of the cracked heat exchanger, are there any residual toxic materials in the ceramic liner or the exchanger? Thanks. peace: e3

With the heat that was on that ceramic chamber when the oil burner was running I dont see how there can be any toxic left in it ED
