new house bid

I just received my bid back from one of my heating contractors and have a couple questions. Fist off, my house is 3350 sq ft
ranch house with a full basement, with Nuwool insulation in Chicago. They bidded for a 2 furn/2 ac system. Here are the systems.

System 1:
Carrier 58sta-090-114 90,000btu 80% eff
Carrier 38ckc-30-3 2.5 ton 10 seer a/c

System 2:
Carrier 58sta-110-116 110,000 btu 80% eff
Carrier 38ckc-042-3 3.5 ton 10 seer a/c

Price includes install of 25 supply and 16 return vents,
3 bath vents,1 dryer vent, 1 kitchen vent, 2 wr 1f78-151 thermo,
and all ducting and units. Price $11,500.

options:

Carrier 58msa 90% $900 each
Carrier 38brc 12 seer a/c $500 each
Carrier 38eza puron 12 seer a/c $650 each
Aprilair #700 humid $375 each
Aprilair #2200 media air cleaner $295 each
Honeywell f50f elec air cleaner $595 each

It seems like alot of heat and a/c for this house. Does this house need that much? Does this price seem to be fair?
Do I need 2 furnaces?
Should I get any options? I wanted a elec air cleaner but seems pretty high(X2)

I have a family friend bidding on it also, I will see what he comes up with. Hope you guys can give me a clear insight.

Thanks for the help.

First Id say did any one show you a work sheet for the heat and A/C load are did they say what they came up with for it. Id forget the electric filter and go for the new high efficiency pleated filters ED
