Question A/C drain pipe cleaning

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to use to keep my A/C drain pipe clean. It clogged once about 2 yrs ago and leaked and when the tech came out he just said the drain pipe was clogged with algae and put some algae tablets in it and its been good as new.
I want to try to keep if from clogging again so I was wondering where I can get the algae tablets he used or can I just put some bleach in the pan and if I use bleach, how much do I put? Thanks for any and all help! Have a good day!

drain maintenance

depending on the type of pipe, i would install a TEE with a cap immediately outside of the evap coil outlet. once a year, twice if it is in a convenient place pour bleach in there. i personally do not like drain pan tabs, as i have seen where they have eroded the pan during their stay.
