fan motor wires

The blower motor on a g-14 pulse 100,000 btu, went bad, just got hot and wouldn't turn.I removed it and brought it to be matched up with a new one.The old one only had 2 wires,a white and orange coming from it.The new one is a 5 speed motor.According to the nameplate data, the blue one is the medium speedand the white and black are the line.Do I wire the blue and the black on the new motor to the other wires that the orange wire was on off the old,and the white to the white wires? Thanks for any help.

If the old motor had two wires then you will only connect two wires on the replacement.
White and black OR white and blue if white is shown to be common on the new motor.
