Question Electrical

Going to put in a 220 circuit breaker box in does any one know if 02 or 03 wire a requirement going to the out side line or either one will work just fine.

HOw big is, or how many AMP 's in this new panel????? then this will tell you what size wire. ED

thanks for your answer but 220 amp box requires a 03 wire anything up to 150 amp 02 wire is required. just found out today thanks for your time to answer Ed.

Are you talking about a 200A panel and a 150A panel and you're asking about the feeder gauge? No AC that I've seen required a 150A circuit.
If this is a subpanel you'll need to run a 4 wire feeder (2 hot/neutral/ground).

Mmmmm now is that 02 and 03 wire in Just TW for a 60C rating or THW, RHW for a75C rating or a SE-U & SE-SER , RHH for a 90C rating .Also is that copper or alum.? So you see there is a lot to look at .

Your ok with the "3/0" copper THW for 200 amp ED
