Manual switch on a fan
I've got a Tempstar furnace that was new about 12 years ago, but there isn't a switch to turn on the fan in the summer. This would be nice since the basement air is 10-20 degrees cooler any time of the day and I'd like to circulate that air. Do you know which wires to connect to or at least know where I could find a manual to read about it myself?

bullet:
If you check the terminal strip on the furnace where the thermostat is connected you may have a terminal marked G.
If so connect a jumper between R and G on rhe strip to see if the fan starts.
Otherwise you will have to be able to read the wiring schematic that is on the unit.
