drip pan
Here is my problem. The drip pan under my unit in the attic is not draining. I cut the pvc and blew in both directions (towards the unit and towards the drain) and they were both clear. Hooked pvc back up using a 3/4 inch elbow and the pan will still not drain. The pan is holding water and does not leak but now I have a foul odor (I'm geussing mildew???) The crawl space is very tight and I can't get a shop vac up there to suck the water out. I tried soaking it up with towels but it only fills back up when I run the unit. I have been running it a bit at night to keep my son's room cool. Any thoughts on why it won't drain even though I can blow through the pipes easily? Any suugestions would be appreciated.

more info
The coil drain is fine. The unit is a couple of years old and I've never had a problem until recently. I did lower the drain end about 1 1/2 inches and I placed a level on it to make sure it was running downhill. This whole thing has me stumped.
