Starting Boiler Furnance

I turned on my furnance and the radiators will not heat. I don't want to be ripped off by a repair man. Before I call one. What might the problem be? I turn off the electric and tried to restart it, but still no neat. It makes a clicking sound like a stove burner that has just been turned on and trying to start.

You are giving us a very small amount of information. We can guess what your system is but it sometimes causes more confusion when we make suggestions based on assumptions. It sounds like it may be spark ignition on a gas unit. If you hear the spark you must not be getting fuel or you would be getting ignition. More info will get more helpful responses. Check the fuel and post back.
