Lennox Central Heat and Air, 1996 Model # PGE10A360100-1P Serial # 8496J20441 Nashville TN Ambient Aie?? You got me. Not a clue. Home is 2,000 Sq. Ft. single family dwelling. Thermostat is old and cheap. The problem: When the furnace starts the fan doesn't always start, even after 10 minutes. It is at my parents house, they are in their 80's, and I would like to get this fixed before cold weather really gets here. The story. Saturday 11/09/03 my dad called and said they had no heat. I checked, and sure nuff, no warm air. I removed the cover, and when I turned the thermostat up the gas lit, and the little fan near the flames started running. (Is that called a combustion air blower?) The blower motor did nothing. After poking around for a few minutes I turned off the breaker, did a few things and turned the breaker back on. All worked as expected. I went through this routine several times, and it soon became obvious that when the blower failed to start resetting the breaker would always make the problem go away. Now it fails once every 2 or 3 days I suspect the blower is kept off until the air gets hot, and that maybe the sensor that detects the air temp is failing. Can some one please lead me around a little. Service tech. found nothing, but it wasn't failing when he was there. Where can I find the sensor, and how can I test it? Is it reasonable to think that breaking the circuit resets something and fixes the problem for a while? What is a ACB Heat sensor and ACB Cool Sensor? I Would appreciate any help anyone can give. I have one room in my house that is over a small crawl space and is always cold in the winter. The rest of the house is over a basement. Unfortunately, the cold room is the living room. The house stays pretty comfortable except for this room. I have gas, steam heat. The radiator in the living room works well but the room is still cold. The crawl space is completely insulated. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion that might make the room warmer. I have thought about trying to heat the crawl space but that seems like a bit of a waste. Thanks for your time. Vinny
