Question

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY CENTRAL HEATING.
I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MY RADIATORS HAVE SLUDGE IN THEM WHICH IS WHY THEY DON'T HEAT UP FULLY AND I HAVE TO BLEAD THEM EVERY TIME I TURN ON MY HEATING.
NOW I HAVE BEEN LIVING AT THIS HOUSE FOR OVER 17 YEARS AND THE C.H.S. WAS HERE FROM BEFORE.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SYSTEM IT IS.
I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO REMOVE THE SLUDGE FROM MY SYSTEM.
I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP IN THIS MATTER
THANKS

Hi In Need:

It sounds like you are talking about a hot water or steam system. You'll find the hydronic experts at www.heatinghelp.com Their message board is called The Wall. Greatwebsite-you'll like it. Thanks. John.
