Middle of the night

In my old house I always had a spare thermocouple since that was the most likely thing to fail on my old furnace in the middle of the night.

Now I have a 92% effecient Carrier What's the most common part to fail that you servicemen have found?

Getting parts is no problem I'm an electrician and still use my Simpson 260.

Thanks

most likely problem i would think would be water buildup in the trap from the furnace. if it were to back up, the pressure switch will hold it out. other than that, hot surface ignitor, but that should be good for many years. keep the filter clean, and you should not have any problems

I agree with the ignitor if it is hot surface. When that goes there is no temporary fix. It will last forever in its box so if I were you, I'd get one and keep it handy.
