Temperature Keeps Droping

I have a problem just on really cold days. When the outside temp. drops into the teens or single digits the house temp drops from 70 to as low as 62. I have an oil fired boiler with a Honeywell R 8182D Aquastat and Taco 007F3 circulator. I am wondering if the temp settings on the aquastat are set wrong. The settings are High 180 Deg. Low 160 Deg. and the Diff is 10 Deg. The Boiler keeps running for short periods of time, shutting down, then 5 Min. later starting up again. Any help with this would greatly be appreciated.

It sounds more like you do not have enough radiation in the rooms. If the boiler was at fault, it would not be able to reach high limit which it does when it shuts off. You could push the high limit up to 200. That may help.
