cold room
Hi, all pros:
There are two questions regarding my heating system:
1. I have a masterroom which is big and tall, about 15 foot
because it is tied to a loft besides), also it has two skylights.
When the heat is on, the temp in this room always is lower than
other room by 2 or 3. At least feel colder.
2. I feel cold when I approach windows. Also I can feel some
wind coming from outside from around windows. How can I do
with it?
3. The heating piple sometimes distribute some cold air
instead of warm air. Is there any problem with it?
Thanks.
Wish all have a warm winter!

# 1 heat goes up to the open loft 15' ceilings there is the heat
#2 Wind comeing from out side at windows check and see if you need to caulk them
#3 You could set the blower on the furnace to shut off a little sooner if not real cool let it alone
Is the air filter clean make sure

I agree with Ed.
Also,
Problem 1- Consider a ceiling fan to force heat back down from the ceiling. This might also help with problem 2-- the drafts near the windows. The windows might actually be well sealed. You might feel room air that is dropping near the windows due to the cooling effect of the cold window. The fan will force floor level air to rise along the windows and walls. Problem 3- the air from the ducts is probably room temp, not cold. Moving air feels cooler than still air.
Good Luck
