fornace blower will not stay lite

furnace will not stay lite.
the igniter starts ,burners come on for about 5 seconds.sometimes 4 min.than burners go out.blower work fine,it runs through this constantly.the manual states if no flame is sensed it closes the gas valve,the igniter de-energizes.do I replace the a sensor.What does it look like?thermastat?

Staying lit for only about 2 sec. sounds like it could be the flame sensor. Go to your ignition module and locate the sensor wire, it will be marked. Follow to the sensor. But sometimes running for 4 min. sounds more like the induced draft proving switch.
