Is there a glow plug in a space heater?

Hi i have a 30,000 btu kerosene space heater. Make is a sears. My problem is that the fan in it wont turn like its burned up. My brother said he put in it a spark plug where the flame ignites it seams to ignite and spark a nice blue flame but the fan tries to turn and just doesnt. Should there be a glow plug there instead of a spark plug? If so where would i purchase one. I have an advanced auto near by. Thanks

I have to be brutally honest and say that I don't think direct combustion heaters are safe and shouldn't be used at all, more so if not working properly.

You must if repairing yours, strictly follow the mfr's repair instructions and use only their parts.

We want you to be around to keep asking us questions.
