Pilot light won't stay lit.

Hi, I am a new member and I have a problem. I have a 5 year old Ruud furnace and the pilot light won't stay lit on it. I have replaced the thermal coupling/ pilot light assembly but it keeps blowing out about once a week. I would appreciate any advice on this matter. Thanks,

5 yrs old with a standing pilot? may be older. does it have an inducer motor? circuit board in the blower? many of those units with the funnel over the pilot have that problem. there is a retrofit assembly out to fix it. if yours is not this type, and the thermocouple is new and well into the flame, i would suspect the gas valve is not operating properly. also check the cap on the flue, if damaged, it can allow drafts back down the pipe
