Furnace Blower Motor Knocking
Hi all. Got an older GFA furnace in the garage that has the blower motor knocking. This is an Intertherm(?) furnace, date code is 871105. I'd like to take the blower out to check the motor (can't take the motor out w/o removing the blower), but I can't figure out how to get the thing out.
It's not the blower itself making the noise, I'm pretty sure it's the motor. As soon as you turn the blower switch on, the knocking starts, and stops as soon as the switch is turned off.
Thanks for any ideas!

After you've turned of the power there should either be a couple screws to remove and the blower housing will slide foward and out or a few bolts and it will drop down. You've probably got a mouse in the sqirrel cage.
