venting 90 % furnace

My furnace is located in the center of my 1920 house. I'm going to install a 90 % furnce and I do not want to vent it through the roof. Can I run the vent pipe down under the house and through the foundation? Do I need a special blower or anything else? What brand of furnace would you recommend? Thank you Bill

as long as the flue pipe has a 1/4 in per ft fall back to the furnace, a sidewall vent is no problem. get them to run a fresh air intake as well, this will boost efficiency upt to 2 plus %. length and number of turns are essential info before installing. how far will it run and how many turns?

flue pipes never run down, if that is what you meant by "down under the house"
