No Terminal Letters for thermostat replacement

I have a Custom-Aire Gravity Heat furnice with a very old electromechanical thermostat (Jade Controls model JT). I want to install a Lux 500 thermostat. Unfortunately the old thermostat has no terminal letters or markings. There are 2 wires connected to the old thermostat.

Any suggestions on how to connect the old wires to the new Lux?

Thanks

I don't think you're gonna get that stat to work. You need 24volts at the stat and what you have I believe is mili-volts.
