Fan Limit Control Settings

My girlfriend's fan limit control was not allowing for the blower to shut off after the furnace stopped running. I moved the three around a little bit and it seems to be working all right again. First, I am wondering what the three different settings should be for on the fan limit control Dial: The current settings are OFF-ON- Now at 100; ON - 150; OFF- 200--- I also watched the fan limit control as the furnace cooled down and it made a squeeky noise as it slid to the next position. Will this eventually need to be replaced due to it sticking? Not sure

Dont know for sure what you have there. INFO help's that 200o should be the limit control. most fans are set for fan on 110-115on and fan off 95 to a 100. Is the filter clean and the control element clean??
