Unhappy broken furnace?

we just move in this new house two years ago, I notice the temperature was dropping this afternoon. The thermostat was set on 72 degrees but the temperature is 67 degrees. I tried turning off the system and turn it on again setting the thermostat to 72 degrees. i could hear the fan is on but there's no flame. I set the fan to auto but the blower doesn't work. but when i put the fan to auto i could feel air coming out the vents but it's not hot. Can someone please tell me what's going on? or give me an idea what to do before calling a service technician.

You need to see what kind of ignition system you have there.

HSI is a hot surface ignitor
Standing pilot
Electronic ignition

Take the front cover off and give the stat a call for heat and let us know what stages it goes thru.
