smoky odour

I recently changed my oil tank and changed the oil filter & air cleaners and cleaned out the chimney flue and furnace. After a little trouble bleeding system, it ran fine. Then I noticed occasionally there would be a smoky odour scent. The air out of grills is ok. I have'nt serviced the injectors for a long time, could that be it?

Could be!

It's best to have a pro do this.. They got the equipment to do a draft, temp, over/under fire reading, and smoke.

Oil can be picky and needs to be tuned in right to burn clean and effecent.

Wink

You didnt say a word about a new nozzle there not an injectors. That is the first place to start. That and the electrode setting, then the pump PSI the draft on the burner up the stack. Did you check and clean the blower wheel there on the burner? there is a lot to an oil burner to look at .
