Old gas trane

I have a old trane model # hgd12004n-1a. the pilot light is way to high and I cant see a sset screw to turn it down. Help. thanks a billion in advance.

Not sure but on the gas valve there can be a screw for the pilot. Why or how did it get big?? Can be you need a new orifice for it. Or how is the Gas W/C pressure .

If the flame is yellow than the pilot is dirty. Blow air down thru it and also look for a small hole below flame and blow thru there. If pilot is high because of adjustment, go to the gas valve and look for "pilot adj" cap screw. Lets start with the most common repairs.
