Trane XE90 takes 2 cycles to light burners

I have a 5 year old Trane XE90 furnace. It is on it's third igniter. Each time there is a call for heat the igniter glows, the burners light and then immediately turn off. After a small delay, the igniter glows, the burners light and all is well. It always takes 2 cycles to light the burners.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Bob

Try cleaning flame rod. May take a couple of cycles to heat thru insulation buildup.
